Is there a minimum age restriction when renting from Unique Car Rentals?
No for chauffeur care hire, Yes for self hire vehicles have a minimum age requirement 30 years old.
How many km’s come free with the vehicle?
All our vehicle come free with a 150km allowance for daily self hire, weekend hire 450km. No limit for chauffeur hire.
Do you offer short terms rentals? Like a couple of hours, or even half-day rentals?
Yes, the minimum hire period is 30 Minutes Supercar Chauffeur hire for only $350.
How long is a weekend package?
Our weekend package starts from 4pm on the Friday of the booking and the ends at 10am on the Monday.
Do I need a credit card to make a booking?
No, you can make a booking by using electronic funds transfer (EFT) direct to our Bank Account or a cash payment by visiting our showroom in person. We also accept credit card payments, 2% credit card surcharge apply.
Can I rent using an International Drivers License?
Yes, we accept presentation of an International Drivers License. You must however also produce an International License Permit, a Passport and another form of Identification when making your booking.
Can I collect my vehicle from Gold Coast Airport?
Yes, our vehicles can be picked up or dropped off at the Airport.

Can I have my rental vehicle delivered to my hotel?
Yes, we can arrange for delivery of your rental vehicle to the hotel of your choice, within the Gold Coast
Is there a bond required for self hire?
There is no bond required to hire one of our vehicles however we do require a Pre Authorisation (Hold on your Credit Card) when your collecting the vehicle on the day. Pre-Auth amount is $20,000.00
How long does it take for my pre authorisation to be returned?
Your pre authorisation will automatically be released as soon as the vehicle is returned in the same condition as which it was picked up (It can take approximately 5-7 working days for funds to clear depending on your financial institution).
If damage is sustained to a vehicle while on rental it can take up to 10 weeks for your pre authorisation to be returned as insurance excesses need to be determined.
What happens if I damage a vehicle?
A report and inspection will occur upon you returning the vehicle in which we would then follow up with a further assessment of the vehicle. You will then be contacted within 5 business days with a timeframe as to the repair of the vehicle and the steps we will follow to have your dispute resolved. If the care is not rentable because of the damage you will be charged $800 for a daily loss of income fee till the time the vehicle is back on road.
What is your cancellation policy?
All rentals cancelled within 48 hours of the rental will not receive a refund. Any rentals cancelled prior to 48 hours before pickup will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
